‘Tis The Season…For Festive Fayres
It’s 1st December, the first door of the Advent Calendar has been prised opened, and if your household is anything like mine, the excitement level is already reaching fever pitch!
Still 24 more days to go, but there are plenty of festive activities to keep the kids’ entertained in the meantime.
The Christmas fairs start this week with some local schools hosting theirs tomorrow and the Horniman Museum kicking off its festivities on Saturday.

Friday 2nd December
3:15 – 5:30 Prendergast Primary School, Christmas Fayre, Manwood Road, SE4 1SA: Arts & Crafts, Santa’s Grotto, Cakes, Tombola, Face Painting. Free for kids. £1 for adults (includes raffle ticket)
3:30 – 5:30 Kelvin Grove Primary School Christmas Fair, Kelvin Grove SE26 6BB:
4:30 – 7:00 Dalmain Primary School Christmas Fair, Grove Close SE23 1AS: Roald Dahl Experience, Santa’s Grotto, Home made produce, bar and food. Free for children. £2 for adults.
Saturday 3rd December
10:30 – 4:30 Horniman Museum Christmas Fair Family activities, Arts and Crafts markets, seasonal produce, mince pies and mulled wine.
Sunday 4th December Horniman Museum Christmas Fair Family activities, Arts and Crafts markets, seasonal produce, mince pies, mulled wine and carol-singing at the Bandstand.
